What is covered in this Learning to Say No - The Right Way course?

Our online Learning to Say No - The Right Way training course is broken down into the following sections and can be completed at your own pace. The course includes:

Module What it includes
How Do You Feel About Saying No? Having the skill and ability to say no means that you are more likely to establish boundaries, focus on your priorities, and say yes to the experiences you really value, including at work. We provide you with a self assessment to give you an insight into how comfortable you really are with saying no.
Childhood Influences

Now you've learned about how comfortable you are with saying no, it's time to dive in to some of the reasons behind your behaviour. We give you examples of the variety of ways in which the experiences we have as children influence our behaviours around saying no when we are adults, and you'll have the opportunity to reflect on these examples

Identity and Background Influences

Alongside our childhood experiences and the lessons learnt from our family, our personal identity and cultural background influence our ability and likelihood of saying no. In this section, we explore the factors within your personal identity that shape how difficult (or not) it is for you to say no. You'll take part in a short quiz to further your understanding of the content so far.

Extension Task By this section, you'll have covered a lot of material. To really get to grips with what it all means, this task will put you to the test. Once you've completed all previous sections, we give you access to a downloadable resource where you can note down all the different factors that influence your ability to say no, and the likelihood of you doing so.
