Course description

Using government guidance and best practices, our online course is designed to help employers and employees in food retail return to work safely following the forced business closures due to COVID-19.

We also offer our Safe Return To Work course for people working in: Food Catering | Food Manufacturing | Manufacturing | Offices | Retail

As many food retail businesses start to return to work following the COVID-19 lockdown, many will be asking what they can do to ensure it’s a safe return and that their staff feel safe and supported? Our online course has been designed to help with these questions.

It uses current government guidance, and provides best practices to ensure that your business has a safe return to work.

The course covers the following topics:

  • An overview of the current COVID-19 guidance
  • What social distancing means
  • What the terminology used by the government means
  • The impact of returning to work and how to plan and risk assess the work environment
  • The key things to consider when travel is needed for work
  • Things to consider when staff return to the workplace, including policies, procedures and training that should be considered

Please note – while this course includes guidance from across the UK, the content is primarily based upon regulations and guidance in England.
