Course description

Our online course is filled with advice to help retail businesses and their employees return to work safely following business closures due to Covid-19.

We also offer our Safe Return To Work course for people working in: Food Catering | Food Manufacturing | Food Retail | Manufacturing | Offices

Businesses are getting ready to open their shops again following the government’s forced closure of retail businesses due to COVID-19, and naturally have a lot of questions and concerns. How can we re-open safely? What measures do we have to put in place? How do we make sure everyone feels safe and supported?

Aimed at both employers and employees, our online course answers these questions and concerns. It uses government guidance and offers best practice to ensure your business and employees feels safe when they return back to work.

You will cover these topics:

  • An overview of the current COVID-19 guidance
  • What social distancing means
  • What the terminology used by the government means
  • The impact of returning to work and how to plan and risk assess the work environment
  • The key things to consider when travel is needed for work
  • Things to consider when staff return to the workplace, including policies, procedures and training that should be considered

Please note – while this course includes guidance from across the UK, the content is primarily based upon regulations and guidance in England.
