Course description

Using government guidance and best practices, our course is designed to help employers and employees in food manufacturing return to work safely following COVID-19.

We also offer our Safe Return To Work course for people working in: Food Catering | Food Retail | Manufacturing | Offices | Retail

Following forced closure due to COVID-19, businesses are starting to return to the workplace. But it does leave a lot of employers and their staff with a lot of questions about their safety. What measures can they put in place? How can they ensure their employees feel safe?

Aimed at both employers and employees, our online course is designed to answer these questions and reduce any worries. It pulls together the government guidance for COVID-19 and recommends best practice regarding how to get your business and your staff back into the workplace safely, and ensure they feel safe when they are working.

The course covers the following topics:

  • An overview of the current COVID-19 guidance
  • What social distancing means
  • What the terminology used by the government means
  • The impact of returning to work and how to plan and risk assess the work environment
  • The key things to consider when travel is needed for work
  • Things to consider when staff return to the workplace, including policies, procedures and training that should be considered

Please note – while this course includes guidance from across the UK, the content is primarily based upon regulations and guidance in England.
