Course description

The course describes the main and current legislation in the food drink sector, the role of the enforcement bodies and the consequences of non-compliance

Legislation covered in the course includes: The Weights and Measures Act 1985; The Licensing Act 2003 with case studies; Consumer Rights Act 2015; Equality Act 2010; Data Protection 1998; Smoke-free Regulations 2006.

The course also provides more information about the various Enforcement Bodies and their role in compliance with the legislation.
