Microsoft Access is used for creating and managing relational databases. The data entered into these databases are organised into tables, consisting of rows and columns with a precise defined structure. Access databases enable you to select required data from the saved information to further manage, create new derived data from the saved information using calculations, and to display, print and publish the source and resulting data in various ways.
In this course, learners will be able to familiarise themselves with the basic terminology concerning Microsoft Access databases, the structure of the objects that can be created, how to copy and import external data into database tables, and how to append and update action queries.
