Course description

Our advanced course has been developed in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the UK government agency responsible for the regulations of workplace health, safety and welfare. This online course covers the whole range of possible causes for slips, trips and falls in the workplace, how design and planning can help to avoid them, and the procedures to deal with them should they happen.

Personalised for various types of workplace and work environments, this course is particularly valuable for managers and supervisors who are responsible for the overall health and safety compliance of a company.

We also offer Slips and Trips: Introduction | Intermediate

According to the HSE, slips and trips are the single most common cause of major injuries in the workplace, and are often also major factors in other injuries, such as falls from height and accidents involving machines. Therefore, training in this area is vital.

Our advanced and wide-ranging course covers the whole range of possible causes for slips and trips in the workplace, the consequences if inadequate care is taken, how design and planning can aim to avoid them, and the procedures to deal with them if they happen.
