Virtual College donates to Macmillan Cancer Support

As part of a series of fundraising events in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, Ilkley-based Virtual College staff have created an online cookbook by contributing recipes of their own signature dishes.

To add spice to the exercise, a ‘taste-off’ was held at their Ilkley offices to judge the best recipe.

Virtual College staff then had the opportunity to buy the cookbook, which has proved to be so popular that a print version has also been created, with the proceeds of each purchase going in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

In addition, Virtual College hosted a staff coffee morning on Friday 29th September to support the national World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event with four ladies from the local Ilkley Macmillan branch serving drinks.

The total proceeds of over £900 from the fundraising events have been donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
