Digital training provider Virtual College has been awarded a prestigious contract – a place in EY’s bespoke training supplier community, which is supporting the UK Civil Service deliver its strategic goals.
The UK Civil Service is going through the next chapter in Civil Service reform, ‘Shaping Our Future Together’. An important element of this Civil Service reform programme is focused on Great People, part of which recognises the need for higher quality training and creating better skills, knowledge and networking opportunities. A vehicle for enabling this work is a refreshed central learning framework (RM6145: Learning and Development) that went live on 30 October 2020 between the Civil Service and their training partners EY and KPMG. To help support this need, EY is working with the Civil Service to provide bespoke training interventions, access to high quality coaching provision and a range of subject matter experts. Meanwhile, KPMG is providing cross Civil Service curriculum and off-the-shelf training.
There are 18 suppliers within EY’s collaborative community, which includes training providers, business schools, universities, professional bodies and other learning specialists. Virtual College is delighted to be one of the small number of digital suppliers chosen. Through exceptional learning, this community will work together to ensure 400,000+ Civil Servants have the right skills, knowledge and expertise.
Virtual College’s 25 years in designing and delivering, highly impactful and immersive digital learning solutions will be utilised by EY to deliver targeted learning interventions to meet specific bespoke business requirements. They will also offer Subject Matter Expertise and digital coaching provision.
“We are delighted to be working with EY and the wider community – an incredibly talented group of training specialists who are renowned for providing exceptional learning interventions that deliver confident and capable learners” comments Hannah Brindle, MD at Virtual College. “This award is testament to our learner centric design philosophy, the great customers we collaborate and work with and the gifted, hardworking and enthusiastic team we have here at Virtual College.
