The scope of BS 7671:2018 covers permanent and temporary installations in residential, commercial, public and industrial premises. It also includes requirements relating to special locations as well as considerations for energy efficiency.
On completion of this 18th Edition online course, you will be able to print a certificate to demonstrate you have completed the learning.
This BS7671 online course includes one attempt at the City & Guilds 2-hour examination.
14 to 18 study hours to complete. The length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly learners can study and absorb the material.
This 18th Edition course is particularly appropriate for those who design, install, commission or maintain low-voltage electrical installations. Whilst the course is primarily aimed at experienced electricians, it will also be of benefit to allied trades as well as trade related professionals including contract managers, installation designers, consultants, specifiers and surveyors.
Although there are no formal entry requirements it is expected that candidates have experience of electrical installation work and a good understanding of electrical science and principles.
On completion of these modules, learners will need to book their exam with NICEIC to receive their accreditation.
