In response to requests for additional courses, our Trades e-Academy division has announced that the development of their PAT testing course is now in its final stages and will be released week commencing 5th March.
The course has been developed in line with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, which require that all electrical systems (including electrical appliances) are maintained (so far as is reasonably practicable) to prevent danger. In practice and to comply with these regulations, there is a requirement upon employers to implement a programme of maintenance, testing and record keeping of all electrical appliances within a workplace situation.
As with all Virtual College e-learning this online training is interactive and available anywhere with an internet connection; while keeping costs down compared with traditional face to face methods. The use of video footage within this course means that particular attention can be paid to more complicated areas, showing procedures being carried out correctly and safely.
You can find out detailed information about the course on the PAT testing coming soon page. Register your interest before the launch and you will be eligible for a 10% discount.
